Why Do We Do This?
My grandparents lived in the same home their entire adult lives. They raised their three children there. They hosted numerous Thanksgivings and Christmas mornings for our family. As with everything, eventually things changed. My grandmother passed away and my grandfather had trouble maintaining the property. His kids stepped up and helped him out. They helped him do his laundry because the stairs to the basement, where the laundry room was, were too hard for him to go up and down. They brought him groceries, because it was too hard physically for him to get out and buy his own. They drove him to church, and they took him to his doctor appointments. After some years, my grandfather made the difficult decision that it was time to sell the home he had built his life in and where so many memories were for him. It took months to get the home ready to be listed, and at the same time, my grandfather moved into an assisted living apartment. When it came time to sign the paperwork to transfer his home to a new family, I went and visited him at his apartment, had a cup of coffee and we signed everything at his kitchen table, so that he did not have to figure out a way to get to my office.
I want to help families get home, like my grandfather. We try to treat you like family, or at least like the family members I like, by meeting you at your home or meeting you after regular work hours, at no additional cost, just trying to work into your busy schedule. When it comes time to sign documents, we schedule an appointment at your home or place of business. A firm representative brings the necessary documents along with an Ipad and will set up the video meeting with a lawyer who will review the paperwork with you, validates identity parameters, and secures signatures, removing the requirement for you to visit our physical office. When it comes time to get the keys on a purchase, we will run them out to you.
